Kyneton Airfield (YKTN)
For the third year in a row, Transaero is hosting Australia's Biggest Morning Tea to raise money for the Cancer Council of Victoria.
Tea, coffee, sweet and savory snacks will be served in the hangar from 10am, all we ask is you make a donation to the Cancer Council in return for your morning tea.
Last year was our first year holding the event at Kyneton, and it was such a success we are back there again this year, thanks to the generous support of the Kyneton Aeroclub and it's hardworking members.
With two runways and plenty of parking on the grass, aviators from far and wide are well catered for at Kyneton. See the ERSA entry for fly-neighbourly advice, and visit the Aeroclub website for more information www.kynetonaeroclub.org
Drive-in visitors are also most welcome, the Airfield is on Kyneton-Metcalfe Rd just north of the Kyneton township.
This event would make a great destination for car and motorbike club outings, as well as Aero Clubs. If you have a group you would like to bring, please contact Kim and advise expected numbers so we can ensure there is enough food.
