Fly-in and drive-in visitors are welcome, and if it's a fine day hopefully there will be some local aircraft up and flying as well.

For local pilots this would be a good chance to bring non-flying family members out to the airfield for a fun and social morning. If you have been looking for an opportunity to get your wife/partner to the airfield, here it is! We can even recommend a nearby winery to continue the fun into the afternoon.

Transaero, Airsports and Penfield Airfield are hosting a Fly-in and Open Day on Saturday 10 May 2008.  All welcome to fly or drive in. BBQ lunch available.  Prizes will be awarded for Best Rag and Tube aircraft, Longest Distance Flown and Grand Champion. Contact us for more information.
