Andrew flew to Perth and back by Gazelle. In a total of 52 flying hours Andrew Mann flew the width of the country to attend the Red Bull Air Race.
One of our more adventurous customers, Andrew took just 4 days to fly the 24 hours from his home at Euroa to Serpentine, south of Perth, and 4 days for the 28 hour trip home.
The Gazelle had only 20 hours flight time on a freshly overhauled Rotax 912 (80 hp), which gave no trouble during the adventure. Cruising at only 65 knots, the Gazelle is normally used for short trips and flying training.
